Satisfaction with the number of parcel lockers is high, 19% of people want more. They are missing mainly in small municipalities, expansion will continue

The boom of the parcel locker network will continue this year as well. Most households believe that the number of lockers in their municipality is ideal, although one fifth of people would welcome even more lockers. GLS will continue building its own network, as well as interconnecting networks with other carriers.

GLS increased the number of delivered shipments by one fifth; it delivers parcels to 6,500 locations and parcel lockers.

Logistics company GLS recorded a record-breaking Christmas season last year, the strongest in its history, delivering 20% more parcels than the year before. At the same time, it continued its rapid expansion, doubling its network of parcel lockers and increasing the number of pickup points by 40% last year. The company will continue to grow in 2025 as well.
