Examples of fake emails and text messages

Fake emails or text messages misusing the GLS logo and name happen frequently. On this page, you can see some of the newest examples that we have been made aware of. They can give you an idea of what a phishing attempt can be like.

Examples of previous fraud attempts that have abused the GLS brand include:

Fraudulent demands for missing taxes or transportation fees for a GLS shipment or for products transported by GLS.
Replies to sales listing online (e.g. Tori.fi or Facebook) that fraudulently claim a GLS courier will deliver a payment to you after you make a payment for the service. GLS does not offer such a service, nor to our knowledge does any other transport company in Finland.
Fraudulent messages that claim a payment order has been sent to you via GLS and you need to make a payment before receiving the money. GLS is not a payment provider and we do not transport cash.

Note that this list is not exhaustive and that criminals come up with new kinds of scams regularly.
